UX- Userflow

Today I learnt how to do a userflow chart. It was difficult at first because there were so many symbols that I didn’t know. Each shape means different thing and I had never thought about designing from a user perspective at all. The web was actually a re-designed of the previous web and users are used to using that old web. I finally understood who the web was for and different types of user.

As a UX-designer, I had to think from a completely new user perspective and consider their decision making. A lot of logic goes into this and I was searching up examples online “e-commerce website userflow”, which had helped me a lot. Another thing was the tool to make a flowchart. I used “draw.io” which actually sucks. It was lagging a lot and the lines are so difficult to join. I tried Lucid Chart but that showed no difference. I know Sketch software allows the build of userflow however I don’t have a Mac. I am contemplating now whether I should get a Mac or not.
